2008 WorldFest (Remi) Awards Platinum (Video Script) - WHMIS Tell Me Your Story DVD Gold (Online Course) - WHMIS Online Training WorldFest is one of the oldest and largest film and video competitions in the world, with more than 4500 category entries received from 37 countries in 2008.
2008 Videographer Awards Award of Excellence (Safety Video) - WHMIS Tell Me Your Story DVD Award of Excellence (Informational Video) - WHMIS Tell Me Your Story DVD The Videographer Awards is an international awards program directed by communication professionals to honour talented companies in the video production field. Entrants include advertising and public relations firms, corporate communications departments and government agencies. Past winners have come from North America and around the world.
2008 Canadian Society of Safety and Development (CSTD) Awards Gold WOW Award (Product Line) - WHMIS Product Suite The CSTD Canadian Awards for Training Excellence honour innovative, Canadian-developed learning products and programs. Other winners from this year include Rogers Telecommunications, the Government of Ontario and CIBC.
2008 Brandon Hall Awards Silver (Use of Video for Learning) - WHMIS Online Training The Brandon Hall Awards recognize the best and brightest companies in online learning from around the world. Other winners in the “Use of Video for Learning” category includeIBM (Bronze) and Pricewaterhouse Coopers (Gold).
2008 Aurora Awards Gold (Video) - WHMIS Tell Me Your Story DVD The Aurora Awards is an international competition designed to recognize excellence in the film and video industries. Entries have come from across North America and other countries from around the world, such as Russia, Denmark, China, Germany, Australia, Mexico.
2008 Apex Awards Award of Excellence (Manuals – Education/Training) - WHMIS Self-Teach Award of Excellence (Writing – Education/Training) - WHMIS Handbook The APEX Awards for publication excellence is an annual competition for writers, editors, publication staff and nonprofit communicators.
2007 MarCom Awards Platinum (Video) - WHMIS Tell Me Your Story DVD Gold (Script) - WHMIS Tell Me Your Story DVD MarCom Awards is an international competition for marketing and communication professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio materials. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. In 2007, there was 5000 entries and Danatec was one of only 13 Canadian companies to receive a Platinum award

Achievements

• 2008 – WHMIS – Tell Me Your Story Video selected to be shown at the World Congress on Safety & Health at Work Conference in Seoul, South Korea.
• 2002 – Primary content developer for the Multi-Industry Association Committee (mactdg.com); including: Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), the Compressed Gas Association (CGA), the Canadian Petroleum Products Institute (CPPI) and the Canadian Chemical Producers Association (CCPA).. A training program developed by Danatec, ICOM Productions, and numerous Industry Leaders across Canada.
• 2001 & 2005 – Sponsor to the TDG Congress hosted by Transport Canada in Ottawa November 5-6, 2001. Our TDG Regulations were used by over 250 delegates
• 1989 – Created the Driver’s Training Package for Transport Canada
