Ron Martin

Ron Martin - President  LinkedIn Ron Martin

Ron purchased 50% of Danatec in 1991 and the remaining 50% in 1995. No one outside of Calgary had ever heard of Danatec and the goal was to hire agents across Canada. It worked. Sales consisted of books, instructor’s manuals and videos as online training had not yet been invented.  Train the Trainer programs and expert regulatory consulting   helped Danatec build an excellent reputation. Today Ron spends six months of the year in Mexico but still has a keen interest in the company and its operations.

As a second generation family member in the business, Alina’s been immersed in Danatec since the early 90’s. Back then she earned $0.05 per book for assembly. Today, her primary roles are steering the Danatec ship, dreaming up new interesting products  and collaborating with her team mates daily on just about everything. When she’s not immersed in regulatory training materials, Alina can be found cooking up a new dish in the kitchen with her daughter, surfing the net or reading. She’s a big fan of current events, travel and anything related to her city, Calgary.

Testimonials

"I thought that the self-teach training program was very informative and effective. We have taken TDG courses in the past and we felt that this was a much more relaxing way as we could all sit down and discuss items and issues together. This program receives a 'thumbs up'."
Samuel Strapping Systems
I recently did your on-line WHMIS training. From registration through to printing of my certificate, it was a pleasurable experience. Though it may seem a little thing – and, yes, I know, it’s automatically generated – but the congratulatory email with my grade noted was a nice touch (forwarded it to my QHSE Supervisor along with the PDF of my certificate, as I am on an oil-rig in north-eastern BC as I do/did this). Unfortunately, I didn’t use Danatec for my on-line TDG training. I won’t make THAT mistake again! It will be Danatec from now on when I need to renew my certs.
